Mrs. Kyriaki Pavlidou graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2006. During the period 2006-2007 she completed postgraduate training at the Surgical-Obstetric Clinic for Companion Animals and in 2007-2008 she received further training at the Anesthesiology & Intensive Care Unit of the Companion Animal Clinic. During the period 2009-2013 she was a PhD candidate at the Anesthesiology & Intensive Care Unit of the Companion Animal Clinic of the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her doctoral thesis entitled “Clinical study of diaphragmatic pressure during general anesthesia in dogs” was submitted for funding by the “Heraclitus II” Program and was successfully judged among the 116 excellent students from all over Greece. From 2016 until today she participates in the daily clinical work at the Anesthesiology Unit of the Companion Animal Clinic of the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as a contract lecturer while at the same time she has completed her Postdoctoral Thesis as a scholar of IKY. During the period 2021-2022 she completed her Master’s Thesis in the English-speaking Postgraduate Program Medical Research Methodology, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki entitled ” The effect of inspired oxygen fraction on blood oxygenation during anaesthesia in dogs: a systematic review with meta-analysis” From 2009 until today she works as a freelancer, veterinarian-anesthesiologist as well as an external collaborator with private veterinarians and clinics Athens and the periphery. At the same time she participates in scientific conferences and anesthesiology workshops as a speaker as well as in seminars as a trainer.
